Peer Knowledge

Posting and blogging have become very popular over the past couple of years. With its popularity, it has gotten dangerous. The internet alone was dangerous for young/little kids but now these websites like MySpace, Facebook, and Crushspot.
A lot of teenagers go on these websites and make pages for themselves. Unfortunately the teenagers don’t realize how dangerous posting can be. Sometimes posting is harmless, other times it’s not. A lot of sex offenders also go on these websites to see these teenagers (or anybody). That’s the dangerous part, especially if there is personal information on that person’s page such as: name, age, and address.
There are almost thirty thousand sex offenders on MySpace alone. If it’s about thirty thousand sex offenders on MySpace alone imagine how many sex offenders do you think are on MySace, Facebook, and Crushpot put together?
